Adele reschedules show, moves from First Ave. to Xcel

NEW YORK -- British soulstress Adele is a big deal these days, so it makes sense that her rescheduled Twin Cities show will move to a bigger venue.
The make up for Adele's cancelled June show at First Avenue in Minneapolis is now set for August 24th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
The 23-year-old Brit was forced to pull her tour off the road due to a bout with laryngitis.
Those holding tickets for the First Avenue show can exchange them at the box office for a seat in special sections Adele has reserved. Everyone holding a valid ticket for the First Avenue show will be admitted to the newly scheduled date.
Thousands of additional tickets will go on sale Monday, July 11 at 10 a.m. Prices for those seats are $29.50, $50, $75 and $89. Adele's warmup act will be rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson. Doors will open at 6:30, with music set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
